For Momos (मोमोज़ के लिए):

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (मैदा)
  • 1/2 cup cabbage, finely chopped (पत्तागोभी, बारीक कटा हुआ)
  • 1/2 cup carrots, grated (गाजर, कद्दुकस किया हुआ)
  • 1/2 cup onions, finely chopped (प्याज, बारीक कटा हुआ)
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced (लहसुन के कली, मिन्स्ड)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated (अदरक, कद्दुकस किया हुआ)
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped (हरी मिर्च, बारीक कटी हुई)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (सोया सॉस)
  • 1 tablespoon oil (तेल)
  • Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)
  • Black pepper to taste (काली मिर्च स्वादानुसार)

 

For Soup (सूप के लिए):

  • 4 cups vegetable broth or water (वेजिटेबल ब्रॉथ या पानी)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (छोटा प्याज, बारीक कटा हुआ)
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced (लहसुन के कली, मिन्स्ड)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated (अदरक, कद्दुकस किया हुआ)
  • 1/2 cup cabbage, shredded (पत्तागोभी, कटा हुआ)
  • 1/2 cup carrots, thinly sliced (गाजर, पतले वर्तनी में कटा हुआ)
  • 1/2 cup capsicum, thinly sliced (शिमला मिर्च, पतले वर्तनी में कटा हुआ)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (सोया सॉस)
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar (सिरका)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (कार्नफ्लोर जिसमें 2 बड़े चम्मच पानी मिलाया हुआ)
  • Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)
  • Black pepper to taste (काली मिर्च स्वादानुसार)

Method / Preparation

Follow step-by-step instructions

For Momos (मोमोज़ के लिए):

  1. Ek bada bowl mein maida, namak, kali mirch aur thoda sa pani le kar acchi tarah se goondhein taki ek smooth dough bane. Dough ko ek chhota kapda dhak kar 15-20 minutes ke liye rest karne dein.

  2. Rested dough ko chhota chhota ball banayein aur har ball ko belan ki madad se gol shape mein belan par bail lein.

  3. Ek medium-sized bartan mein pani garam karein aur usmein momos ke belan bail hue balls ko ek-dusre se alag karke rakh dein taki woh sticking na ho.

  4. Ab momos ko medium aanch par 8-10 minutes tak steam karein, ya jab tak momos fully cooked ho jayein.

 

For Soup (सूप के लिए):

  1. Ek pan mein oil garam karein aur usmein minced garlic aur grated ginger daal kar sauté karein, jab tak khushboo aane lage.

  2. Fir chopped onions, shredded cabbage, sliced carrots, aur sliced capsicum daal kar unhein thoda sa pakayein.

  3. Vegetable broth ya pani daal kar acchi tarah se mix karein aur usmein soy sauce aur vinegar daal kar dobara mix karein.

  4. Ab cornstarch ka mixture daal kar soup ko thick hone tak pakayein.

  5. Salt aur black pepper se swadisht banayein.
