Ingredients

Check off items as you gather them
  • 200 grams tofu, saaf kiya hua aur chhota kata hua (firm tofu, crumbled)
  • 1 bada pyaaz (large onion), kata hua
  • 1 bada tamatar (large tomato), kata hua
  • 1/2 bada shimla mirch (bell pepper), kata hua
  • 2-3 hari mirch (green chilies), kata hua (optional, for spiciness)
  • 2-3 lehsun ki kaliya (garlic cloves), kata hua aur pees kiya hua
  • 1/2 chammach haldi powder (turmeric powder)
  • 1/2 chammach lal mirch powder (red chili powder)
  • 1 chammach dhaniya powder (coriander powder)
  • 1/2 chammach jeera (cumin seeds)
  • 2-3 chammach tel (oil)
  • Namak (salt) to taste
  • Kothmir (coriander leaves) for garnish

Method / Preparation

Follow step-by-step instructions
  1. Ek kadhai mein tel garam karein aur usme jeera daalein. Jab jeera brown ho jaye, pyaaz aur lehsun daalein aur halka sa brown hone tak pakayein.

  2. Tamatar, shimla mirch, aur hari mirch (agar istemal kiya) daalein aur thoda sa namak daalkar mix karein. Sabziyan soft ho jayein tab tak pakayein.

  3. Ab haldi powder, lal mirch powder, aur dhaniya powder daalein aur acche se mix karein.

  4. Tofu ko saaf karke chhota kata hua aur kadhai mein daalein. Namak daalkar acche se mix karein.

  5. Tofu ko masalo ke saath milayein aur dheemi aanch par pakayein, jab tak ki tofu masalon se acche se coat ho jaye aur ek scramble ki tarah dikhe.

  6. Kothmir se sajayein aur garama garam Tofu Scramble ko serve karein.
